EPONA'S TOUCH - From WI to CA
Considerations before your first massage session
-
The new client form above must be submitted before your first session. If it is not, you will be asked to fill one out at the time of the appointment.
-
You will be asked to sign a consent and waiver of liability form before your first session begins.
-
It is expected that your horse will be ready to work with at the time of your appointment. A 10am appointment does not mean we both get there at 10, it means our session begins at 10. If you are running late please text or call so that adjustments may be made. I usually arrive a few minutes early to make sure we start on time.
-
If you need to cancel please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. I don't take a deposit and I don't want to have to start.
-
You, or a representative, must be at each session. If sending a representative please let me know beforehand. This representative can be a family member, friend, or facility staff.
-
Although it's not required, a clean horse is always a lot more pleasant to work with than a dirty one.
-
It is preferred that the session take place in a quiet, controlled area. This can be a stall, cross ties, an unused arena/round pen, or just a quiet corner of the yard. Sessions can take place indoors or out.
-
If your horse is sensitive in any particular areas (ears, girth, hind end, feet) it will be discussed before the session begins.
-
During your session it is requested that the horse not be provided with distractions from the owner/representative or bystanders. This includes feeding, petting, and trying to get the horses attention. This is a quiet time for them to focus on relaxation and release.
-
Individuals are welcome to watch with the owners consent. Any individuals viewing the session should keep talking to a minimum.
-
Payment must be received before or at the time of the session. Cash, check, PayPal, and Venmo are all welcomed forms of payment. Checks should be made out to Emilie Ganiere.
If you have any questions before your first session please feel free to reach out using the "Contact" form on this site.
